Yoshiki photoshoot from SHOCKwave
Apparently Yoshiki is doing things again. He looks remarkably good given that he's 42. Of course, when I first got into jrock I though he was the most beautiful man I'd ever seen.

To go with his new on-the-music-sceneness, he just did quite the photoshoot. Blood, straightjackets, cutting and dead...women. Bloody pianos, blood-filled bathtubs, and all sorts of fun stuff like that.

Scans of the magazine are behind this cut. Totally NSFW and if you have trouble with blood or suicidal imagery, or the Malice Mizer Illuminati video, you're going to have trouble with this.

Just...Not worksafe. Take note of that.

Not entirely sure what I think about this X-Japan reunion thing, though. The old jrock bands seem to be doing a nostalgia thing, or are trying to hang onto their youth. Or something. Buck-Tick, X-Japan, Luna Sea.

Wow. He does look like he aged a bit, but still, he's looking really great, especially for the age.
I see we both got attracted to J-rock through Yoshiki? X3 *used to find him utterly gorgeous too, many many years ago, but never followed things much closely*
From what I heard, he did a concert in the US this summer, with Gackt and others. They formed a group called SKIN.
But it sounds like it was pretty bad though. :X (Uber delays, barely any songs in it etc.)

The concert was Gackt, Miyavi, Sugizo and Yoshiki. I remember thinking that Gackt's level of talent wasn't quite up there with the others. >_> I love the man, and he's gorgeous, but his recent music has kind of sucked, IMO.

Yoshiki is worth getting into jrock for. He actually knew how to compose music, and was so very, very pretty. And unlike some, he managed to look like a guy while being pretty. Not that I have anything against the ones that look like girls. Quite to the contrary. But there's something to be said for a guy that can be pretty AND look like a man.

But, yes. There is something about an X-Japan reunion tour, which confuses me. I do think the older bands are jumping on the opening left by Buck-Tick's 20th Anniversary buzz.

So agreed about how Gackt is sucking lately, but Yoshiki is smoking hot. Oh yes yes very yes. And there's no way he looks 42. I mean, I'd avoid most 42 year old guys, hell most guys, like the plague but. . . yesplz. Oh *drools over Yoshiki*

he looks sooo young. and thank u good he looks healthy *looking at all the blood* ... earm, ok, you know what i mean.^^ *rofl*
i´m happy he seems to be ok :)

the pictures rock. he finally shows his gorgeous side again *rembers the nude photobook and some other sey shoots of him during the X times* *muhahahaa* :D
well, in the pic where he bites his right hand, he somehow reminds me of Kyo ... but ... ok.^^ *gg*

about the Elizabeth Bathory thing: i can´t believe shinya did this before yoshiki *roooofl*
(well, maybe we will soon see shinya in another bathtub shooting ... i´d love to :D )
